J Travis Cooper (They/Them) is a queer black musical theatre performer represented by Hudson Artists Agency. They are currently based out of Norfolk, Virginia. They have a rich baritone voice with a strong falsetto and are trained in Jazz, Tap, Modern, and Musical Theatre Dance Styles. Coming from a family of performing artists and teachers, they have a lifelong love for the arts and completed the B.A. Musical Theatre Program at James Madison University as an Honors Scholar. In their free time, they are studying Intimacy Direction with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators, and supporting experimental and independent theatre projects.

J Travis Cooper recently toured the US in "An Officer and A Gentleman" as an offstage swing. They covered Officer Candidates Watts, Perryman, and Sid Worley, as well as Drill Sergeant Emil Foley. They rounded out their duties as assistant dance captain and social media liaison working with Super Awesome Friends.
J Travis has recently resigned with Hudson Artists Agency , a boutique agency based in New York City that represents some of the finest talent in Film, Television, and Theatre.
